Pictures of the E32 730--735-740 cluctch compare to the 850Csi clutch.So, a little warning ...
The cluch of the 850Csi does not mount on the manual gearbox of the 730-735-740 ... so,don't try to adjust it, it can't be made, the main AXEs is much bigger on the 850Csi gearbox ... torque baby.. torque...
So, here is the 2 clutch plates, you can see the size difference. About 20% more surface.

YOu can see that the external diameter is much much bigger. (about an inch)


The flywheels are not even going to match, obviously!!!

The clutch kit for the 850csi is much more expensive than the E32 kit, about double. I was lucky enough to get it with the Gearbox, in very good shape. i toke a closer look at the surface of the plate, and I ll have it smoothed by my machine shop tomorrow.
